Houed in a blue solander case protecting the book. Provenance: Joseph Dunninger (1892-1975), aka The Amazing Dunninger, was a prominent magician and mentalist who pioneered the performance of magic on radio and television. He was friends of Harry Houdini and other contemporary magicians. An interesting association of one of the most desirable 20th century American landmark novels. Condition: a near fine book with just a hint of shelf wear and faint ageing spots to page block. The original dust jacket is NOT price clipped, clean with a professional repair of a tear. A striking specimen. The Grapes of Wrath was an immediate bestseller and won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the National Book Award.
